Tom Hails Passage of Landmark Bipartisan Chemical Safety Reform
In a speech, U.S. Senator Tom Udall hailed the Senate's passage by voice vote of a final agreement on landmark bipartisan legislation to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 (TSCA). Udall's bill, cosponsored by U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, now heads to the president to be signed into law.
